Hello, students in EngComp 1552!

Welcome to the course website. Throughout the semester, you will be posting questions here about the readings and issues in the course. You will also be responding to your peers’ questions here. Start out by registering for the blog.

After you’ve registered, write a one-sentence definition of literacy in a blog post. Then write a response to your own post explaining why you chose this sentence as your definition of literacy (4-6 sentences or so). Questions to consider: What did you include? What did you leave out? What pleases or displeases you about your choices in your definition?

Print out your post and your response and bring it to class on Weds so that we can discuss them.
